I LOVE scrub, especially an all-natural, antioxidant loaded scrub that's the perfect beginning to a great facial. Free radicals, such as tobacco smoke & the very air we breathe contain multitudes of free radicals. The first layer of skin, the epidermis, has dead cells needing to be "sloughed" off to fully bring out the brilliance of our own skin tone and color. Mere soap can't cleanse oil clogged pores from deep within as a scrub does.

Sebum builds up, incurring oil-clogged pores resulting in blemishes. This is a natural process leaving oil in pores & on skin that needs to be "sloughed" off. Being in the medical field for 23 years, Skin-the integumentary system- was a point of interest to me. It's the largest organ in the body with many functions. I took test after test regarding layers of skin and their purpose. I've used a facial scrub from an early age. The difference between scrub and soap are incredible.
